Safety Tips
- Wear Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Depending on the equipment you’re using, you may need to wear specific PPE to protect yourself from potential hazards. Common PPE includes safety goggles, gloves, hard hats, and ear protection. Our staff can recommend the appropriate PPE for your rental equipment.
- Follow Proper Operating Procedures Adhere to the recommended operating procedures outlined in the user manual. Avoid taking shortcuts or improvising, as this can increase the risk of accidents. If you’re unsure how to operate the equipment, ask for a demonstration or seek additional training.
- Stay Aware of Your Surroundings When operating equipment, stay alert and aware of your surroundings. Keep an eye out for obstacles, other workers, and any potential hazards. Ensure that the area is clear before starting the equipment and maintain a safe distance from others while operating it.
- Avoid Overloading the Equipment Overloading equipment can lead to instability, decreased performance, and increased wear and tear. Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines for maximum load capacity and avoid exceeding these limits.
- Turn Off and Secure the Equipment When Not in Use When you’re finished using the equipment or taking a break, turn it off and secure it to prevent unauthorized access. Remove the keys and store them in a safe place.
- Report Any Issues or Concerns If you experience any issues or concerns while using the rental equipment, report them to our team as soon as possible. We’re here to help and ensure your safety throughout the rental process.
